INSTRUCTIONS

DashPi is compatible with Dirt Rally™, Dirt 3™, F1 2015™, Assetto Corsa™, Project CARS™, Live For Speed™, RaceRoom Racing Experience™, Game Stock Car™, rFactor™, rFactor 2™, Automobilista™, iRacing™, Richard Burns Rally™, Real Rally 2016™, Real Rally 2019™, GTR 2™, Race 07™, Euro Truck Simulator 2™, American Truck Simulator™.
You must follow these steps to make it work.

Setup Connector

  1. Make sure you have downloaded the connector application to your game PC. This software requires .NET Framework 4.5.2.
  2. Turn your mobile device's WIFI on. Make sure your game PC and mobile device are on the same network.
  3. Open DashPi and find the IP address at top left corner.

  4. Open the connector application and click Config button.

  5. Click the plus button ("+"), fill the IP address in the form and click to save.

  6. Please keep the application running when the game is running.

Setup Games

DiRT Rally 2.0™

  1. Find hardware_settings_config.xml which is located in C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\My Games\{Game Name}\hardwaresettings.
  2. Open it and find this line

    <motion_platform>
    ...
    <udp enabled="false" extradata="0" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" delay="1" />
    ...
    </motion_platform>
  3. Replace this line with

    <motion_platform>
    ...
    <udp enabled="true" extradata="3" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" delay="1" />
    ...
    </motion_platform>

DiRT Rally™

  1. Find hardware_settings_config.xml which is located in C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\My Games\{Game Name}\hardwaresettings.
  2. Open it and find this line

    <motion_platform>
    ...
    <udp enabled="false" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" />
    ...
    </motion_platform>
  3. Replace this line with

    <motion_platform>
    ...
    <udp enabled="true" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" delay="1" extradata="3" />
    ...
    </motion_platform>

F1 2015™, F1 2016™

  1. Find hardware_settings_config.xml which is located in C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\My Games\{Game Name}\hardwaresettings.
  2. Open it and find this line

    ...
    <udp0 enabled...
    ...
  3. Replace this line with

    <motion>
    ...
    <udp0 enabled="true" ip="127.0.0.1" port="20777" />
    ...
    </motion>

F1 2014™, F1 2013™, GRID 2™

  1. Find hardware_settings_config.xml which is located in C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\My Games\{Game Name}\hardwaresettings.
  2. Open it and find this line

    <motion enabled="true" extradata="0" delay="1" port="20777" ip="dbox"/>
  3. Replace this line with

    <motion enabled="true" extradata="3" delay="1" port="20777" ip="127.0.0.1"/>

F1 2012™

  1. Find hardware_settings_config.xml which is located in C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\My Games\{Game Name}\hardwaresettings.
  2. Open it and find this line

    <motion enabled="true" extradata="0" delay="1" port="20777" ip="dbox"/>
  3. Replace this line with

    <motion enabled="true" extradata="2" delay="1" port="20777" ip="127.0.0.1"/>

F1 2011™, F1 2010™, DiRT 3™, DiRT 2™

  1. Find hardware_settings_config.xml which is located in C:\Users\{User Name}\Documents\My Games\{Game Name}\hardwaresettings.
  2. Open it and find this line

    <motion enabled="true" extradata="0" delay="1" port="20777" ip="dbox"/>
  3. Replace this line with

    <motion enabled="true" extradata="1" delay="1" port="20777" ip="127.0.0.1"/>
Dirt 3 crash bug

  1. Download the ZIP file using this link.
  2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder of your choosing.
  3. Open the folder you created in the previous step, and then run DiRTTelemetryErrorFix.exe.
  4. Within 30 seconds (configurable via App.config) of starting DiRTTelemetryErrorFix.exe, start DiRT Showdown or DiRT 3.
  5. DiRTTelemetryErrorFix.exe will automatically hook into the game process and will suppress the WinSock error.

Assetto Corsa™

There is nothing to do. Just open the game and run it. (Please make sure you are running the latest version.)

Project CARS™

Main Menu options screen, under 'Help & Options' -> 'Visuals' -> 'Hardware' -> 'Use Shared Memory' -> 'Yes'.

Live For Speed™

  1. Open cfg.txt in your main Live for Speed folder.
  2. Find these lines

    OutGauge Mode 0        :0-off 1-driving 2-driving+replay
    OutGauge Delay 1       :minimum delay between packets (100ths of a sec)
    OutGauge IP 0.0.0.0    :IP address to send the UDP packet
    OutGauge Port 0        :IP port
  3. Replace these lines with

    OutGauge Mode 1        :0-off 1-driving 2-driving+replay
    OutGauge Delay 1       :minimum delay between packets (100ths of a sec)
    OutGauge IP 127.0.0.1  :IP address to send the UDP packet
    OutGauge Port 30000    :IP port

RaceRoom Racing Experience™

There is nothing to do. Just open the game and run it.

Game Stock Car™

  1. Before playing you need to install the plugin. This file should be located in the Game Plugin\rFactor folder in the DashPi application path.
  2. Copy the RFactorPlugin.dll file to your Game Stock Car\Plugins folder. Example: D:\Game Stock Car\Plugins

rFactor™

  1. Before playing you need to install the plugin. This file should be located in the `Game Plugin\rFactor" folder in the DashPi application path.
  2. Copy the "RFactorPlugin.dll" file to your rFactor\Plugins folder. Example: D:\rFactor\Plugins

rFactor 2™

  1. Before playing you need to install the plugin. This file should be located in the Game Plugin\rFactor folder in the DashPi application path.
  2. Copy the RFactorPlugin.dll (use RFactorPlugin_X64.dll if you are running a 64-bit version) file to your rFactor2\Bin32\Plugins folder (copy to rFactor2\Bin64\Plugins folder if you are running a 64-bit version). Example: D:\rFactor2\Bin32\Plugins

Automobilista™

  1. Before playing you need to install the plugin. This file should be located in the Game Plugin\rFactor folder in the DashPi application path.
  2. Copy the RFactorPlugin.dll file to your Automobilista\Plugins folder. Example: D:\Automobilista\Plugins

Euro Truck Simulator 2™, American Truck Simulator™

  1. Before playing you need to install the plugin. This file should be located in the Game Plugin\ETS2 folder in the DashPi application path.
  2. Place the acquired DLL (ets2-telemetry.dll) inside bin/win_x86/plugins/ of your ETS2 installation(copy ets2-telemetry-x64.dll to bin/win_x64/plugins/ folder if you are running a 64-bit version). It is possible the plugins directory doesn't exists yet (as with every default installation). In that case you need to create the plugins folder. Place the DLL inside the plugins folder.

iRacing™

There is nothing to do. Just open the game and run it.

Richard Burns Rally™

  1. Before playing you need to install the plugin. This file should be located in the Game Plugin\rbr folder in the DashPi application path.
  2. Copy the d3d9.dll and gidll_config.txt files to the installation path of your game's exe file. Example: D:\RBR

Real Rally 2016™

  1. Start game and go to 'Options' -> 'Plugins'.
  2. Select VCORP DASH METER 2017 and press enter to activate it.
  3. You must activate it manually every time.

Real Rally 2019™

Just activate it from the real rally manager.

GTR 2™

There is nothing to do. Just open the game and run it.

Race 07™

There is nothing to do. Just open the game and run it.
